Crystallizer reactors shipped to Canada

15L Crystallizers & CIP Skids were designed and manufactured for our client in Canada. Exeptional quality has been achieved.

Fabrication of Modules for this project was executed by our facility in Sakarya, Turkey. EMA Engineering and Sakarya facility project personnel monitored the overall quality and commercial performance for the project. All welding, assembly and piping were completed at Sakarya facility under the direction of EMA Engineering, quality personnel and the Project Manager.

Three 316 SS, agitated vessels were designed and manufactured with its own heat transfer units. Agitators are constructed as paddle type shown in the reactor sketch. Agitator speed reduced to 25rpm. Each reactor has adjustable relief valve, sight glass, ex-proof motor, light and thermocouple for internal and jacket temperature measurement. Each crystallizer equipped with two ports for spray balls.

CIP vessel has 400 rpm agitator. Heat transfer system will consist of ex-proof heat transfer circulation pump, Brazed Heat Exchanger, Ex-proof electrical heater, relief valve, temperature expansion tank and cooling control valve.  Each reactor including CIP tank are mounted on SS skid, on the wheels as shown at the sketch.

HIGHLIGHTS OF SCHEDULEPRO SchedulePro is a finite capacity scheduling (FCS) tool that facilitates production scheduling and planning, capacity analysis, and debottlenecking of multi-product manufacturing facilities. It considers constraints related to the limited availability of facilities, equipment, resources (e.g., labor, utilities, raw materials, etc.) and work areas. SchedulePro operates seamlessly with SuperPro (through automatic importing of its recipes) but it also functions as a stand-alone application for users that are interested in scheduling and planning but do not have a need for simulation. SchedulePro is the only production scheduling and resource management tool specifically developed to address the needs of the batch process industries. It has been designed as a practical application for use by process schedulers. Its input and output are in a format that is readily recognizable to batch manufacturing personnel.  It does not require the formulation of complicated optimization or math programming problems. SchedulePro provides the flexibility to generate intuitive workable schedules and utilities to visualize and distribute schedules.

Engineering companies use SchedulePro as a modeling tool to size utilities of batch plants, identify equipment requirements, reduce cycle times, and debottleneck existing facilities.

EMA Engineering at CPhI 2016 Istanbul

CPhI Istanbul: The leading pharma event comes to Eurasia. Turkey’s growing economy and Istanbul’s strategic geographical positioning as the only city in the world that bridges two continents, Europe and Asia, together with its deep economic and cultural ties to the Middle East and North Africa provides a pivotal meeting place. CPhI Istanbul and co-located events P-MEC, InnoPack and ICSE will bring together local Turkish and regional drug manufacturers with global suppliers of raw materials, machinery, packaging solutions and contract services. The events will host 100+ exhibitors and is expected to attract more than 2,000 visitors from the region looking for suppliers and manufacturing partners to bring cost-competitive pharmaceuticals to their individual markets.

We are global equipment manufacturing and design/build engineering firm that assists pharmaceutical, advanced bio and chemical industry in process / project designing, managing and commissioning. We are committed to act as your advisers by providing the optimal alternatives to help you to make the best decisions. For our employees, Our Promise is to serve you the best.

We approach our projects by first developing an in-depth understanding of the process itself and the production goals. These characteristics play a key role in the development of the installation program. We pay special attention to the level of uncertainty of the basic characteristics, and to the level of flexibility required by the project.

Our knowledge of the industry allows us to identify the gray areas, and to establish plausible hypotheses for the installation’s operational characteristics.

EMA Engineering partners with Irish firm DPS

EMA Engineering and DPS Engineering agree for a partnership. Source :

Irish company DPS Engineering is entering into a partnership agreement with EMA Engineering, a specialist design/construction firm based in Istanbul, Turkey.

Specialising in engineering design and project management for pharmaceutical and hi-tech plants, DPS now employs more than 600 people in Ireland, continental Europe and the US. The partnership agreement was signed in Istanbul this week by DPS managing director Frank Keogh and EMA founder and managing director Murat Altun.

Keogh said: “DPS has been expanding at a phenomenal rate over the past couple of years and we now have a turnover in excess of €60m.”

The Turkish economy has been expanding dramatically in recent years and we see our partnership with a company of the scale and expertise of EMA as the ideal route into this growing market.

We see the partnership arrangement as the optimum route into new international markets for DPS and we expect to establish more partnerships in other countries over the coming year.

DPS Engineering was initially founded in 1974 but expanded rapidly following a management buyout in 1996 led by Keogh and backed by private investors. As well as offices in Dublin and Cork, DPS also has an office in the Netherlands serving the European market and has also established a strong presence in the north-eastern US after the acquisition two years ago of the American engineering company Biometics.

The company’s client list includes most of the major global pharmaceutical companies as well as some major clients in the high technology sector.
